What is Awesome Inc U?
Awesome Inc U exists to help people learn to harness the creative power of technology. If you want to build your own website, mobile app, or video game, we can help you get started. It’s never too early or too late to learn digital skills. Check out what some of our past students have to say.
Do I need to bring a computer?
Yes. Each student will need to provide his/her own laptop for the course. Microsoft Windows-based PC’s or Apple macOS computers will work. We recommend a laptop made within the past 3-4 years. Computers should be free from viruses/malware. We have a very limited number of rental laptops available for $25/day, which can be reserved online.
Do I need to have prior design experience?
No prior design experience is required, but students should be comfortable typing, navigating a file / folder structure, and using a web browser.
How many students will there be in my class?
This course is capped at 16 students.
Are there any age limits for students in the Intro to Design course?
The Intro to Design course is designed for adult learners.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
See map for parking options. Awesome Inc is located a short walk from the Lextran bus station. We also offer indoor bicycle parking.
