Coding Club Level 3
The Coding Club Level 3 is designed for students ages 12-15 who already have an established understanding of computational thinking and text-based programming.
The Awesome Inc Coding Club is for students who want to sharpen their computer programming skills with the help of our experienced instructional team. Sign up with friends, or meet new people with similar interests. Students should have at least 1 year of prior program experience, such as completing the Coding Club Levels 1 and 2.
Coding Club Level 3 builds on Software Development skills and Computer Science principles by using JavaScript, APIs, and cross-platform mobile app development.
Coding Club Level 3 participants should have some prior programming experience, such as a basic course at school or Awesome Inc’s Coding Club. Since we’ll be using text-based programming languages, students should be comfortable typing at 20 words per minute or faster.
Come back for as many sessions as you’d like, the fun and the knowledge keeps on building. Sign up with friends, or meet new people with similar interests.

FAQs
Yes. Each student will need to provide his/her own laptop for the course. Microsoft Windows-based PC's, Apple macOS computers, or Google Chromebooks will work, but iPads will not work for this course. We recommend a laptop made within the past 3-4 years. Computers should be free from viruses/malware. We have a very limited number of rental laptops available for $25/day, which can be reserved online.
No prior programming experience is required, but students should be comfortable typing and using a web browser!
This course is capped at 12 students, so be sure to reserve your spot!
The Coding Club Level 3 is designed for students ages 11 - 14 (approx. 6th - 9th grade). Please inquire if your student doesn't fit that age range but you still want him/her to participate - info@awesomeincu.com.
There is a one-week gap between sessions 3 and 4 due to Fayette Co. Schools Spring Break.
